水の揺らぎを見たり、水の音を聴くと心が落ち着き、どこまでも続く青色はずっと眺めていたいと感じます。このような、私たちが水の流れに対して抱く親密さへの興味が、この作品の始まりです。この事実は、私たちはまだ自然の流れの一部であるということ、そして同じ状態や景色は一秒として続かないということを、何気なく教えてくれている気がしています。
Watching water ripple or listening to its sound calms the mind, and the endless blue makes you want to gaze at it forever. This fascination with the intimacy we feel toward flowing water is the starting point for this work. It seems to casually remind us that we are still part of nature's flow, and that no state or scene lasts even a single second.
