森の中で集めた葉の色を絵具で再現し、炭をベースにした表面にのせていった作品です。
葉の色はその時の太陽の位置や置かれた環境によって常に変化しています。その色は季節の動きを知らせてくれ、その植物の一生の姿を見せてくれます。日々私たちが時間を確認するために見る時計の針や数字にはない、野生的で生命的な時間の姿が、葉の色を通して垣間見ることができる気がし、この作品をつくりました。
This work recreates the colors of leaves gathered in the forest using paint, applied onto a charcoal-based surface.
The colors of leaves constantly change depending on the sun's position and their environment. These colors signal the movement of the seasons and reveal the plant's entire life cycle. I created this piece because I felt that through the colors of leaves, we can glimpse a wild, vital form of time—one not found in the hands and numbers of the clocks we check daily to confirm the time.
