私たちの住むこの地球では、太陽光と水の循環が天地万物のリズムを刻み、長い時間をかけ、自然界にある全ての形や模様を形成してきました。この作品群は、自然の作用が木を形成してきたように、太陽光に含まれる紫外線と水を材料とする技法を用い、様々な木の姿を写し出しました。生命の故郷である深海を思い起こさせる深い青色でその姿を改めて見つめてみると、時間の経過を、生命の尊さを、自然の流れを、そして秩序と無秩序の絡まりを、垣間見ることができます。
On this Earth we inhabit, the cycle of sunlight and water has carved the rhythm of all things in heaven and earth, shaping every form and pattern in nature over vast spans of time. This series of works employs a technique using ultraviolet rays from sunlight and water as materials, mirroring the diverse forms of trees, much like how natural forces have shaped wood. When we gaze upon these forms anew in a deep blue reminiscent of the deep sea, the cradle of life, we catch glimpses of the passage of time, the preciousness of life, the flow of nature, and the intertwining of order and disorder.
